Share a trip with the people travelling with you. Devices sync directly with each other, end-to-end encrypted – Rutabi knows neither names nor trips.

Articles and images for your itinerary items, saved on request so they are there even without a signal.

During the beta Pro is unlocked for every tester. Whoever tests keeps Pro permanently. This applies until further notice.
Your trips stay yours
Rutabi is built local-first: the app works without a network, and there is no server holding your trips.
- No account, no login. Everything lives in a database on your device. We do not see it – we could not.
- Backup in your iCloud, not with us. And as a file you can pass on yourself.
- Planning together runs through an encrypted mailbox. The sync packets sit with us temporarily – end-to-end encrypted, deleted automatically after 30 days. You hand the key to your fellow travellers directly; we never have it.
- AI only if you want it. With your own Claude key, directly between you and Anthropic – no detour through us.
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting.
- What does leave the device – map tiles, place search, Wikipedia, exchange rates – is listed in full in the privacy policy.
First as a beta, via TestFlight
Rutabi arrives first as a beta for iPhone. Leave your email address and you will get the invitation link once it opens – and nothing else. Android follows.
The beta runs on the real environment, there is no separate test environment. What you create there stays yours afterwards. Whoever tests gets Pro permanently, as a gift.
